Keeping them away at all from information what happens throughout the rest of the world at all! Don't know if you know - why does Hollywood always make its own remake of any foreign film that makes it to get successful? Well, just because for the sake of it. Because someone or something or some entity thinks it's better for all Americans if they don't see anything from the world outside of their own latitudes. Aka "American mind won't be able to understand foreign culture and customs, they need something they're used to, they can TRUST".
