If someone really wanted to make a better getting closer to the topic "why don't people acquire the same if they don't suit the social standard expectation of people", then he should better take a look at things that make out these individual resources. Personal characteristics as well as the resources he was given since birth to form anything good out of them. Poverty and precarious family circumstances are much more a deciding factor in this - if someone becomes a professor or if he just becomes the usual drug dealing thug on the street or simply a good-for-nothing.
