About Western Greens... I wouldn't wonder if that is true to some extent. Already what you mention - that they protest and hold actions against certain things, but not other ones -, then I also recognize that they... seem to cover old-fashioned Green dogmas right from the 80s (e. g. protesting against coal), which don't make much sense, and they show behavior which is politically not neutral. Like, for example, as, months ago, some "environmental activists" raided the PCK Schwedt and shut down the oil faucet for some time (that's where the Друшба-pipeline docks in Germany).
Out of all possible places, why there? It's so obvious where the hint should point to...

- Just as a joke: At the moment now, it would be quite a fun if someone headed to the place where Nord Stream 2 arrives on German ground and if he turned the gas faucet on. - Just to symbolically say "we've had enough, turn this pipeline on, we don't want to freeze in Winter for a clown in Kiew and for your futile war and pay astronomically high gas bills!".
