Phew... Hard for me to answer because I don't consume that much mainstream mass media, so I don't know for sure if they mention it at all.
If I go by my impression about the topic, I'd say: Perhaps they mention it, but, if you regard it under the star of "hell, that's the annual day we were freed from fascism and it's mass murder!", there should be much louder fuss about it.
And - I don't think it's the times, that it's so long ago that the first generations start to exist which can't relate to this anymore. You know, the West German state always had its problem with seeing their Nazi past as something that was absolutely wrong...
