That was quick...
Seems like the crossposting from Dreamwidth to Livejournal is functional again...
Caught a few entries from other people a few days ago, tried my luck and it does again what it does usually (until now).
I don't know what they did or what was exactly the point that it didn't want to run - or if the matter is already a closed case; I'd rather tend to doubt that -; well, at least one can go back to normal.
Perhaps there may be one or the other discrepancy still to be expected in the coming weeks (I hope not), so be on the lookout.

Community? Don't be kidding... Just as I'm alone allrounder here, I'm also one there. Over here is the bigger part of my traffic, definitely.
I must even say - if there wasn't what is regularly going on here, on DW there also wouldn't be that much to talk about. Somehow it is so, the place also lives from the ongoings here.
The only thing which you see flourishing over there is the fandom and roleplay community, and then perhaps the Tumblr refugees (as Tumblr started cleaning out all its adult content).
The audience over there defenitely more tends to be English-speaking, but the Russian-speaking part, I think, also already is relatively respectable.
Lots of people crosspost from there (technically it is very easy to do), some have also completely switched over to DW with the TOS change here - on both sides of the spectrum, from the English spehere as well as the Russian one.
So - it wouldn't be to you like "I won't find anybody to talk to over there", I don't guess so.
Only it is: You have more troubles than here with getting to know individual people because the former rich community structure that once existed here didn't carry over to DW. (So that you could stumble over people via similar interests.)
Part of that may also be because literally everything from any platform once moved over to Facebook.
Livejournal already existed before that (so that's why you have a respectable graveyard here) while Dreamwidth started to appear just as Facebook started to become popular. - Big competitor beside them to resist...
