While in America the issue of gay marriage has gained significant traction, it seems that is the only issue that has expanded into social consciousness. Everywhere - EVERYWHERE here in the States - narcissists and an utter lack of common compassion has swelled. It's taken a sharp turn for the worse in the last 15 years, and it's very noticeable.
Thinking about it, there's also nothing left but to agree. US politics have gone very aggressive over the last 10 to 15 years. On the inside as well as on the outside, towards abroad. It's not like it never was aggressive, at the beginning of the 90s there still was the first war in Iraq, not to forget the political games that they did in the East, in South America as well as in Africa as the Cold War still was on - but things have taken a very uncompromising trait. Sometimes it also is - not like in the 90s where America still had some influence on what's going on in the world - like America is very busy with itself.
