++ Announcement++ - Troubles with crossposting from DW to LJ (Nr. 2)

In case the word didn't spread to some - at the moment, Dreamwidth has problems with crossposting (again - if you remember a while ago), and this time it doesn't seem like this can be fixed too soon. LJs protection mechanisms constantly block the IP addresses of the DW crossposter because of alleged failures to login with a correct password.
So, the recent radio silence wasn't on purpose from my side.
In respect to this, I have to make a decision how I keep the order in my stuff - as the troubles have been on for about a week now and a solution doesn't seem in sight so far yet.
Because most of my readers and business are here (and most of those which are present on DW also have a residence here, but not necessarily vice versa), I'll keep it that way: Fresh posts go here, the DW pendants get generated via its "import content"-function ('cause strangely this works alright).

Of course, it can be that in another week I can switch back to how I usually maintain this here - but I'm a bit tired of waiting now, a quick solution doesn't appear to be in range, and it seems like if I just kept on waiting, it would be that I had to wait for longer than the last time. You never have a guarantee that this plays out the same as last time...
So I thought this through from the back to the front and from the front to the back what's the best way how to keep it - and this seems like the most satisfying one.

That was quick...

Seems like the crossposting from Dreamwidth to Livejournal is functional again...
Caught a few entries from other people a few days ago, tried my luck and it does again what it does usually (until now).
I don't know what they did or what was exactly the point that it didn't want to run - or if the matter is already a closed case; I'd rather tend to doubt that -; well, at least one can go back to normal.
Perhaps there may be one or the other discrepancy still to be expected in the coming weeks (I hope not), so be on the lookout.

++ Announcement++ - Troubles with crossposting from DW to LJ

Perhaps the word has already went around - Dreamwidth's crossposting feature currently has problems with Livejournal and doesn't work with that platform.
Responses in the support area speak that this is due to newly added servers, which were automatically blocked by LJ for security purposes, so it might take a few weeks until DW's developers and contributors have figured a solution to this problem to make things work like before again.

With that situation on, I'll temporarily switch over to making posts here first and then import them into Dreamwidth (which feature whereas works as normally).
- Doing it this way round is an effective way to keep doing importing content from here, but without receiving duplicated entries later, because the data banks "see" a connection between the respective entries on this platform and on DW.
Normally this "connection" would be established by crossposting from DW, but as this feature isn't available currently - and I can't afford leaving this area empty here -, it'll have to be that way until the problem gets solved over at DW...

Just for the record; so that nobody starts wondering because something seems abnormal.

++ Announcement++: "Summer of Hardstyle" ends!

So, now with even the meteorological start of autumn, this campaign comes to end!
I thought it through, if I didn't wanna stop it already with the beginning of September (because summer's been way more rainy than usually and not as warm here, so autumn feels like it already started much sooner also), then I'll put hopes into better days during this month 'cause often enough September still brings some solid warm and sunny days.
Now with the weeks progressing, and fall being definitely there, it's due that I finish this summer campaign!
Hope that you enjoyed it (those few that come around) and that I selected some good tracks for everyone's taste at least!

Be sure that I'll come up with anything else again - be it a campaign in music or some other stuff!
'Cause, only social and political topics, this becomes boring and monotonous over time.

PS: And even if it's over and remains a single action that won't be repeated, still you folks can follow that tag "Summer of Hardstyle (2017)" back to the tracks being posted years after it and make yourself comfortable!

++Announcement++: "Summer of Hardstyle" is on!

In case nobody noticed (I don't like writing announcements, sorry), this year I thought like doing some entertainment part, contrary to the usual writing part.
I called it "Summer of Hardstyle" and people who are familiar to the Eletronic Music genre might already get a glimpse of what it means.
For the whole summer I select a track of the mentioned genre "Hardstyle" every week, with best efforts always at the same day to get some regularity in (and to not forget about it, shame on me if I do).
Sources I use all of the known legal services which don't cause trouble with embedding and which don't require owning an account for it. So that the average normal reader can listen to them freely without any bureaucratic complications (life already confronts you far too often with it, right?).

So, people, from now on you know the drill! Hope you enjoy it!

(Also hope that no "copyright infringement!"-screamer jumps out of the bush... I'm not a copyright harmer, I'm just a stupid person using stuff that YouTube doesn't delete in ages and that composers partly even upload themselves on Soundcloud. Also I always mention the source link separately.
And no, I don't earn money with any of the crap being done here!)

PS: For the definition of "summer" - summer lasts as long as the warm temperatures last.
Okay, when this is still the case in October, I don't know if I still keep posting references to pieces then...
But just about half of Semptember one can calculate, I think.
