The new campaign against Iran kind of leaves the impression like there's an unconditional need for the US to finally win a conflict again and push their interests through (after the several failed military campaigns, economic war attempts and coups d'état). Maybe even - or only - to achieve a second term for a president called Trump.

That's pretty much what I guessed. Thanks for the details. The protestors don't even write what they demand so it was not very clear.

If you ask me, there are a lot of dreamers in this, not realists.
And because there have been some old grumps decades before which denounced these, all critics to their dreamery gets smashed in a blow because "you're simply one who falls for the lies of these old geezers"...
