The ape wants to know where he stands

Something that spreads remarkably among youngsters: The disease to mess with Godzilla even though you're only a dwarf.
It doesn't seem to come into their minds that someone is bigger and more powerful than them.
Literally, one is not even able to speak of "they refuse to take notice" because he can't tell for sure if that is the problem.
Sometimes it is like because someone is bigger than them, they start to mess with him. Like they're begging for somebody to show them their limits.
You can't tell for sure, if they do realize the difference in size and voluntarily decide to ignore it, or if they realize at all that there is an incline.

I agree. It is grandiose thinking. Millenials don't have perspective or nuanced thinking. It is the primary reason people call them narcissistic over and over. It is odd to me that they are not religious because it is similar to how people that think the world is only 16,000 years old and the end of the world is coming might think. It is like they think their life is a comic strip and everyone fits in three to five small panels.

I think growing up staring at the internet constantly has done that to them. There is a documentary on Netflix about how in China there are over 400 bootcamps that parents send their internet addicted teenagers to. I had an internet addicted Chinese guy and his girlfriend living here for a year and he ended up doing things like climbing the neighbor's balcony to get in the apartment, vandalizing his girlfriend's car to keep her going anywhere, and kicking in my car window to make me believe that the parking lot his girlfriend's car was supposedly vandalized in actually had vandals. Anyway, he couldn't think of anyone except himself and is probably in jail by now.

The question becomes why that generation never learns to be less like that. The world doesn't conform to their narrow thinking.

They should all be required to take tons of history and philosophy classes to get perspective of how small everyone is compared to everything else.
