Time for another coup d'état

Once in a blue moon Venezuela again, America?
Someone needing money for a budget in shutdown times - or does someone need a scenario at the South border in order to desperately reason his wall project with that?
Okay, let's be fair, let that all be conspiracy theory...
That part of that which is no conspiracy are the prices at the pretrol stations in Europe: From one to the other week, they can climb 15 cents at once back to their high.

We common citizens are thinking will there be a military invasion of USA and if it will, would be our government or who else is taking the decision here wise enough to stay away...

"The news have carried it so far to mention these plans of the US to send 5000 (?) soldiers to Columbia for this."

Yes, I've heard something in a row and I think they could do what ever they like in South America - it is a long distance for Russian planes to get...

"Don't the Russians have a military base there or didn't they intend to build one there?"

As I know we don't. I personally do not know and Putin is not asking me would we like to have some base at South America. Anyway I think, it is very expensive for Russia to move to the West and what for, to stop the possible local war, to stop USA we could from any point on the world oceans map having the nuclear submarines.

"Relationships with Venezuela have quite a bit of tradition meanwhile."

The tradition of our relationship with Cuba and whole South America based at USSR times was meant to be a competitor to USA and Russia now is certainly couldn't afford to be one. We don't have no money no desire.

That is I agree- imperialist intentions to get involved with the other supposedly independent country to gain some sort of financial profit. What pisses me off here that I saw from the leftist point of view that Venezuela is suddenly socialist and it is fight of capitalism vs socialism which is a complete BS. Venezuela might have nationalized oil industry but it benefits the class of private owners. Really they depend on the damn oil and prior to that people where hungry and jobless so it is a fight of two capitalist groups again, the stronger and the weaker one. Which, of course, does not mean that anyone should support the overthrow of their government but support Maduro as a socialist is another extrim, I think.
