If anyone tries to act the scandalized by the recent revelations about certain Hollywood figures being frequent molesters, here's a twist for your mind: Actually Wes Craven already said everything about this in Scream 3 a long time ago. Go watch that movie and reconsider the stories you're hearing now.
It's a give and take. The Dream Factory's a place of use & abuse, of dependence, big dreams, and some people hiding in it which have the least in good intentions with them.
As it is with all kinds of molesters, including those looking for children, they can be found in every class of society and in every job occupation that exists.
It is an illusion to tell oneself that it isn't so. One who lives in a world of his mental self denying that actually is pretty naive.
If you want to do anything for your safety, then make sure to wear the attitude on the outside "I don't fuck for career and anyone who grabs me the wrong way, being not allowed to do this by me, he's gonna get kicked right in the ass for it like a self-evidence!".
'Cause a cleansing of the world from this, executed by other people, won't be realistic.
Too many of those aren't the loser neighbor from next door - no, they're people with good public reputation, sometimes even in really high offices. They carry big names and nobody wants to remove them from it 'cause they need them.
Also, responsible, meaning "the first being able to do something for it", for the integrity of your own body is YOU.
Your body is your property - the only property nobody can ever take away from you as long as you live.
So also treat it like it is. Protect your property. Care for your property.

See, with it's true about protecting yourself but the flip side that some people may use it against you. We are in the world now where the most innocent word or gesture can lead you to trouble. You may lose your job or even go to jail if somebody decided to use it against you. The world kind of sucks.

I know. And I really DO know that from some certain perspective...
Only I have a problem with the representation and spread of the... how do I say?... I have problem with making people be mentally constituted to expect that others must take care of not violating them.
Meaning, I have a problem with getting people to tick in such pathways that, whenever somebody harms them, that they have to call another person in order to protect their integrity and their rights.
You see... That it becomes alien to people to defend themselves, which every primitive animal does, and to take care of their own body, their own psychical life and their own dignity.

I feel like people subscribe to doing a lot of shit, in order to pursue their own goals, and later they complain about feeling dirty because of it, because they behaved so much like a street whore, and what they did was not thinking before doing - acting like a little child which doesn't know what it really does.
But instead of questioning themselves why they behaved this way and trampled so much on their own self, they go out and blame other people for what they "made them do". Totally ignoring there are two parts which lead to a result, and cementing it that this way of lack of care for one's self is a common thing that everybody does, everybody should do and everybody should approve of, when it comes down to such people blaming other people for what THEY did out of own selfishness.
...You get me, what I mean?

I find people kind of have slave mentality. Like they depend on someone and they are abused maybe not directly but they will not complain and just tolerate. Aren't you proclaimed free? Seems like this contradiction never occurs to them.

Hm, that's a good term to start talking. "Slave mentality".
People are just like... little kids who make themselves dependent on someone, and when this someone doesn't treat them well, they cry out loud how much of an asshole he is. While completely ignoring that they're adults themselves and they're also responsible for taking care of keeping harm away from them - not even to say, they're also capable in physical and mental condition to do so (compared to kids who're always subject to the "I'm so small, adults are so big"-twist).
You know... Like "evil is not supposed to happen", but it's not present only in the back of their minds that it CAN happen because that's a fact of life.
And when they're aware of it, then they only habor the self-evidence that everyone must support them in their opinion that the other part, the abusing part, must be mercilessly punished.
Like - they're not aware of it in the tiniest bit that they also must take care themselves which situations they expose themselves to, that they have to make sure they don't run like straight into it.
When they run straight into it, then there's only blaming the other part for what he's done, never a word about "did I maybe act too naively myself?".

I feel like it's not right to spread this like it's a self-evidence. That you can blame anyone at any time for something where you should have been careful yourself ALSO.
I feel like that helps spreading this child-like mentality, as well as keeping it up in fully grown adults.
