Putting pieces back together

Leftists bemoan about the lack of will for unity among people, and them being and acting too seperated to be able to cause a change within the system.
But - what if that is a wish that is not possible anymore? What if the process of individualization that has taken place over decades has made them too different to be united unterneath a single claim?
Or, at least, if it has divided them in mentality and reality so much that it first requires work as long as the individualization process to overcome these trenches?

It's true. Just watch and see whether the left wing party here comes out to vote in the 2016 election. They may not. I told my father that at least the Republican Party here gets along with each other enough to get out the vote. The left wing party here are all too narcissistic and self involved to even do something simple like make sure you vote in a presidential election.

If someone in the right wing that made left wing people very angry was the other candidate though, like Donald Trump, the turnout would be immense and he'd lose really badly.

I meant that as general question to what the left likes to demand of itself and of society.
They talk about needing to unite, do things together, so just a great force of putting pressure upon the conservative structures that lead the country is generated - or a mass of people is created which create a different kernel to life than doing forced work, make you be a modern slave of somebody's will and consuming like there is no end.

But, in the matter of the left, I admit you're right.
The right and far right seem to have some common agenda they could agree on, but the left - on one hand you have a part of the left which is cowardly and behaves like narcississts, they're like those with the head in the clouds and talking about "social harmony" all day - and guns area all bad! -, on the other hand then you have something like a left that wants to achieve their goals within the system, which just think "you only need to change a few little things", and on another hand again then you have people which understood "the system won't help us", but they don't dare to really dive into the practical materia of communism, and on a very other hand then you have the underground left which needs to hide itself which seriously talks about communism, which call the others what they are, but also the others don't want to talk to them because it seems to radical what they want and then also everything goes into the direction of evil GDR, evil dictatorship as they hear it day by day out of the TV propagnda.

...Say, that's why I put out the question, because this doesn't seem to me anymore like you could get it to unite. Two ways are just two ways, if you ask me.
And we don't even count the new far right into the boat!
