Hm... I'd say, this is one piece of the puzzle that is the problem. Some groups of people have risen to also be able to afford themselves expensive layers which decades ago weren't able to do this. But I think there also goes another problem. These groups of people, they call themselves "progressive" and in some kind of way in practice in every day life they're this even, but what they didn't get rid of is the childish attitude that is commong in the US. Like, they learned to defend their interests, but they didn't learn to be responsible adults, they have stayed kids which have found ways to get their will - just like all the other interest groups that existed before. Say, they represent the opposite of what conservatives say, but their methods and their attitude is as stubborn and orientated towards "I want to get my will! Under all circumstances!" as the kind of the conservatives. In other words: As different as they wanted to be against the conservatives, but in the end they turned to what the conservatives always were and always will be.
