Guns, slaves, prostitutes/wives forced into marriage, mercenaries... As far as I know, no matter how Gaddafi's reign was, before it was a huge place for people from Africa to find work and earn money. For living conditions common in Africa, it was one of the rather "modern" countries. Ever since these new North-Africa-politics, which blasted him out of his position, this circumstance completely turned around and one may not even dare to tell fortune about it, when that could change again only for the tiniest bit.
