Err, I don't know if you have these in America too - it's those little clear plastic bags you put your fruits and vegetables in in the shops. Recently, they came up with reusable ones which you buy once, but next time you bring it with you again to store that stuff in it again. Kind of like... I think the best comparison is like if you have a laundry net bag, only you use it for loose fruits and vegetables. (I couldn't find a corresponding term in English in the online dictionary - maybe the word is too new, so there still is none out there.)
What I only wrote down here as a note about them is: Irony - they want to save use of plastics, but these net bags for fruits and vegetables are also made of plastic. (It's only you don't throw them away after one use, you can reuse and even wash them.) In this aspect, I actually find the euphoria pointless. Because it's not only about reducing the use and creation of plastic, it should also be about "reducing ways you eat plastic with the foods" (which comes with storing and transporting foods in plastics all the time).
