Oh man, I love how you wandered through this word and brought it back to things like married culture and things like preventing the spread of disease to just one family/person.
I loathe the word "slut" to describe anything sexual, because I feel it's a deragotory term made up just to shame women who like sex (or even look like they might have sex), but there IS a such thing as "political sluttery".
The kind of shameless whoring, you scratch my back I'll scratch yours, utterly obviously surface of trading-favors just to enrich themselves while screwing over everyone else.....
