The US is even worse off, I think. But, also here, some of the big cities, especially Berlin, it's like misery chained to even more misery. If not some non-profit organizations would be doing some work on the ground, lots of things were already lost. And, you get the impression here like the state even already firmly relies on the work of these entities and their volunteers. It's like - things they don't have to initiate. Things they can outsource and the costs are paid out of someone else's wallet.
