What you protesters need is new kinds and ways to show your protest, so that it impresses anyone at all of those you want to rally against.
You know what? In the last century the powerful still were afraid of it when crowds of people gathered in one spot to march along the streets or to occupy their place of current residence.
Today they close the venetian blinds and the problem is gone for them. As long as they're not close enough to the window to break in.
They know the public is not going to come in and demand for their heads.
They stand politely outside, according to the manners that they've been taught, they sing their songs, hold up their signs and go home again in the end. And if they don't, you got the police to carry them.
So - where's the fear factor? Where's the factor that those powerful people actually should even care to look at them? There is nothing in this that forces them. Politics of today go on tomorrow.
They sit safely in their ivory tower.
What have you won? In practice - nothing. So what do you cheer about every time? It's rather like you celebrate yourselves because from despair, because you need to tell your people they've done something of meaning while they have the constant impression like there's literally nothing in this world they do that has a meaning. But ain't that also part of the problem?
Those people you lead or call for gathering, the plague of their lives is experiencing, seeing that everything's made of pretending. And you keep blowing the same horn?
You betcha how much you are a criminal too in that terms and how much you actually know that if you are as intelligent as you try to act. If not - go back for a round in the school of life.

Date: 20 September 2016 03:30 pm (UTC)You know, I'd see it the other way round: War and struggle actually is the natural state of things. Peace is when you found the lucky gap to get something balanced for a longer time.
Most people think peace is the natural state of things, and therefore they scream if you put struggle and obstacles into their way - anything that disturbs their little safe bubble.
But from the natural point of view, struggle is the general rule according to which everything works.
No life comes without making efforts. You also even have to kill an animal or a plant in order to have something to eat and go on living. And this process keeps on existing in all higher levels that make out "life".

Actually, in that department I must say something that I maybe already realized when I was younger, but I put it far, far away from me: Actually the situation is pretty hopeless.
