Freedom doesn't come by permission, but - do you always have to take getting thrown into jail for it?

This sounds like some paradox of our time. You fight for freedom to lose personal freedom.

It's rather meant the other way around.
You get to hear and feel everywhere that freedoms you need are not what people are willing to grant to you, but on the other hand - if you start to give no damn anymore about it and take what you think you need - if you start taking your freedoms -, then again you get scolded, screamed at, punished, put to jail and acted upon like you're the most evil thing that ever crawled out of some woman's womb. Like - "Take whatever fredoms we grant to you or rot in jail! There's only one way - OUR way!"
If you don't feel like wanting to go to jail for everything that you want - does it always have to be that extreme? -, then it's like you need to swallow what you get granted, you won't get what you truly need...
