"The land of the free never really cared about freedom. Not its politicians, not its oligarchs, not the people that really decide over the course of the country. It worked together with Nazis barely that they've fled from Europe just to bring down the Soviet Union because they were its political enemies. The United States - a Jew-friendly place? Open your eyes, by the time the Germans killed them by the masses in their concentration camps, nobody liked them anywhere either. Henry Ford was an anti-Semite, Disney was an anti-Semite - nobody thought about correcting their views or putting them to jail for it. Ford even had good trade relations with the Third Reich as long as it was possible. IBM delivered punch card machines for the bureaucratic administration of the concentration camps. If the United States really would have been so much against it, they had ordered those key technologies to be stopped to be delivered to the Nazis before they made the declaration of war. It would have just been a blow to them. Key technologies are always subject to the final OK of the state. If it doesn't happen, the administration doesn't want it. And the trail keeps continuing until the present. Fascists and butchers? As long as they're political enemies of an enemy of the states, they don't see reason why not making them their tool for a power change or to simply destroy the most promising competitor beside them.
One can't even tell how long in time this behavior goes back. It's been so much inherent to its system, it's like it goes back to the very early days - since the US was able to move on the international political parquet."

Date: 25 April 2017 05:51 am (UTC)Core point here was pointing out a cascade of things which should make clear for every naive that doesn't know or believe it that the US is that he knows these days isn't more than just a modern invention. One could even say "illusion". The very things in this country sometimes even had been the other way around. If they are "friendly" (on the outside banner) towards a certain group of people today, follow the trace back, you'll find that once they had been totally the opposite of that. Totally hostile.
And it's just not only talking about the race conflict or whatever identity politics pick.
By the way, do you know why so many Jews ended up in the occupation of professions that have to do with administering money?
As far as I know, that's a result of processes having taken place many, many centuries ago.
Christians aren't supposed to charge other Christians interest. So they picked the Jews to do those jobs 'cause they are no fellow Christians.
In former centuries, Jews had been a group of people anyway that faced social exclusion and hostility, that haven't been let into jobs like everyone else, so this even was good fodder for the system to recognize that this group of people can be pressed into a certain group of occupations because they're useful for it in a certain way.
This is how it came to this...

Date: 25 April 2017 01:36 pm (UTC)I know the term for what you describe, it's called "Calvinism".
Calvisnism was a splinter of the many ideas during the time after Luther's posting of his theses. There have been many groups and ideas how to reform the existing Catholic Christian church, all emerged in the aftermath of Luther's work.
Calvinism also was the base for the Puritans and some other confessional splinter groups later.
This kind of "confession" had a relatively worth-the-mentioning presence, among others, in England. (Other terriroty is e. g. the territory of modern day Switzerland.)
I don't exactly know why, but anytime the existing elite in England worked against those people, got them driven to the edge of society.
Because of this, later good numbers of them left off to the new world in America.
America, undeveloped as a state, didn't sort anyone out by his attitudes, if they would bring big social troubles and so on, so they could settle there undisturbed.
And that is a huge base for the confessions being present in America today, as well as it shaped the thinking of their own mindset and culture in parts.
Mostly, you can detect it in their elites - in their acting towards people poorer than them ("It's your own fault that you're not right like me!"), in their thinking of themselves (look at the base of the Mormon church and at the topic of "American exceptionalism") and in their thinking and acting towards the rest of the world (see "interfering everywhere in the world without asking anyone" mentioned by you, not complying with a lot of international treaties refering to warfare, weapon manufacturing and prohibition of use of certain weapons (e. g. cluster munition), American superiority thinking in culture, technology and business (Hollywood, Silicon Valley, raiding copyright infringers homes in countries abroad without getting all the proper permissions).

Date: 26 April 2017 12:32 pm (UTC)I mean, who knows really how anyone had meant all these things hundreds of years ago? Or, how did he have to evenlop things to be not regarded globally as a heretic and burned on the stake? How did he have to do it that the generally religious public would even listen to him?
Nobody knows a few hundred years later. It might be that something bizarre like this even started with a basically good or noble idea. But it was corrupted over time, by people who searched for a reason to justify themselves before others why they're their kings and why they got more rights than them, and on their way they pick up all kinds of ideas that seem profitable in that sense.
