"A reason why a state must remain neutral and clean of religion and mercantilism?
To serve all people equally and to maintain a public education system that teaches children by science that antibiotics won't make their head fall off, a car is no living monster to sit in, carnivores can't subsist on grass, potatoes not gonna eat you and that water doesn't poison plants in general."

Date: 23 May 2017 11:59 am (UTC)In smaller circles with limited extent this may work, but on a larger scale with things being needed on a larger scale this fails 'cause people generating those wares wouldn't ever live up to the amounts that were needed.
Including, this would need everyone to at least be master in one craftwork 'cause one person doesn't have knowledge and skills in all disciplines you need to survive and make your life comfortable.
(But which would lead again to a community structure which a psychologist had to call "symbiotic". "Symbiotic" because all depend on each other in such a way, no-one can leave the community without leaving all others back exposed to potential danger of going down through the loss 'cause all is geared to the one single constallation that had been there previously. This also includes "nobody can grow old" 'cause age can attack your phyiscal powers to practice your craftwork and possibly also your mental powers for it.)

But I can guess, in some kind of dreamy fairytale worlds this can subsist as an idea until today.
I already got my own experiences about this kind of symbiosis - and that's how I come to like impersonality and the non-binding.
Binding things such as symbiosis always require and demand from you that you have to function in every moment potentially and there's ever no saying "no". "No" is like the world going down. Emotionally it's terrible if you don't idealize the community... Piles and piles of screaming, guilt and accusations raining down on you... That's no environment to live in.
