That's definitely true. Sometimes they say it takes about 2 years but it depends how deep and sincerer the "wound". Sometimes never.

With mental wounds, I know, it depends on how early they were cut...
Say, regard it like if something during building of the foundation of a house goes wrong. The whole house can be a solid construction which lasts, but anytime the broken foundation climbs to the top someway and makes the whole house instable.
