February's over - and now here it comes, the big frosty days with double-digit numbers up to twenty under zero degrees Celsius... While before it had trouble to get cold at all and drop some snow that lasted for a few days.
(The last time I remember seen such cold temperatures forcing their ways even into the last rural corner of Central Europe was during winter from 2005 to 2006.)

The last time seen something like that was, as mentioned, if you ask my memory, in the winter from 2005 to 2006 (I think it already was in 2006 specifically). And, it wasn't very comfortable either.
Only strange thing now is: The cold is there everywhere, but there doesn't need to be snow too. There are also areas which have no snow lying round town. Think it's more the areas close to the North and the Baltic Sea which have due to the sea letting rainfall being produced. Inland, they can be dry in that.

Not because of purchasing anything, more because of the food fest.
Preparing that is usually a bit more effortful than at other times.
