Auf High Heels zu laufen ist bekanntlich wie die ganze Zeit auf Zehnspitzen zu laufen - genauso wie Raptoren! (Raptoren hatten nur in der Regel eine Zehe an der Ferse, um die Balance zu halten.)
Soll einem diese versteckte Analogie irgendetwas bestimmtes mitteilen?


Wearing high heeled shoes is known to be like walking on the tips of your toes all the time - just like raptors did! (Raptors only ordinarily had another toe at the heel of their foot in order to keep the balance.)
Shall this hidden analogy tell you anything in particular?

I think I had a pretty absurd association there... but found it funny enough to put it out there (just products of weird brain activity, right?).

Hm, over here, I find the marketing message is still "women without (high) heels are no women". For some professions that have a bigger representative component in them, it seems like somehow required to wear any heels at all (if high or not, doesn't matter - at least some). Exceptions are maybe summer temperatures - I feel like this adds a factor into the equation which enforces a little more reasonable thinking. Less sweating overrides "just looking good" for the most part.
Comfortable stuff, to me, seems more like a question of character and what activity you have to do. Some women just don't like that style, never got used to it, and otherwise it's not very handy if you go shopping groceries, for example.
Well, and sure also a question of age - the younger individuals care for such stuff way more than mature women which don't have to worry that much about showing status to peers anymore or which still need to get a man stuck to their fish hook.

Anyway... if it's not the hot summer season that makes some things totally uncomfortable to wear, I feel like heeled footwear (if higher or lower heeled) still is relatively common here.
Kind of makes it a sign for my brain that I just don't get this female stuff and female thinking, female aesthetics. I just don't share that preference.

The Russian women, generally with bad taste though, sometimes like to go shopping wearing heels or hiking for god's sake. But I think there is a place and time for everything. In some cases wearing heels is not only uncomfortable but kind of ridiculous. People look like jackasses I swear.

Hm, I think for those individuals which overstretch it here, similar thing is valid. Those who do it don't have the best taste, and/or they're only good for the view, not for doing anything practically. If they were supposed to move even their little finger, they'd find themselves totally unable to do this in that outfit...

The right place and time for everything - I think that's a good attitude. Seriously.
This is like "if I wanna show off to caress my ego and if I have the possibility to do so, then I'll do it" and if there's not the space to do it or you don't feel like it (personally or in that situation), then you simply cease that activity. Without thinking it's like, you know, "some's missing if I can't do it".
I think that's a healthy attitude.
