They find a head of state trapped in a clink, leave him to the verdict of the locals, pull down a statue and unjustifiably declare themselves to be the winner of the war - whose results still keep them busy for the sake of security.

Interesting like they go away pretty much with a war crime. And nobody cares but they can just throw a person in jail if they have an unpaid parking ticket.

As a longterm thing, this event can be seen today as "groundbreaking". Because it is a war whose consequences can still be observed very obviously, but committed without the backup of the United Nations and still there has been nobody held accountable for the lies they've started it with.
So it has been proven that you can start a war under whatever star and no-one needs the okay of the UN, neither can it do anything against it. - Leaving the post-WWII-order actually obsolete through that.

Agree, UN is just a joke and the whole thing is above the law as long as it serves the interests.
