That childen can get sick from children's TV one can understand when looking at it yourself.
Too much information is thrown at them all at once, quick cuts and quick flow, even in advertising, drive you to an epileptic seizure yourself - even as an adult you think like getting mad or it blows a fuse in your head every minute.
So how should a brain which is still in development react to a constant consumption of this overflow of stimulus other than with developing malfunction if you already think like getting insane, after five minutes?

OMG YES. I've often thought that many children's hyperactivity could be traced to how tv shows are physically done these days. The quick cuts, the frantic music, the absolute lack of cohesive storylines. It would shape a brain, like, physically! Train it up, so to speak, to be just like that.
