They draw borders on the moon,
borders on mars,
property in bloom,
when do they take the stars?
Anytime they draw them in the sky,
errect traffic lights,
call that "freedom of mine"
and still tell me "join the fights".

Even the mountains they turn into tourist attractions,
shift change on the roof of the world,
space enthusiasts can live their affections
as long as money is their word.
Doesn't matter if they're sick,
if they're old or half-past death,
bigness can buy every kick,
and fuel on all fantasies in their heads.

The world is an amusement park
for humans of all shades,
beware if someone starts to bark,
that's not calculated in their plays.
A golden cage, pretending thrills,
the last trial to escape is meth,
but drugs don't work, it kills
the cognition is solid, adventure is dead.

War techniques change from army to structural war.
No area is restricted anymore.
From finances to markets to people to food to supply to natural resources, even to patents and to environmental standards, as well as known corruption, doping, tax evasion, known connections, drug traffic, weapon sales, international fraud - all of these territories have been approved to be used to cause another fraction damage which doesn't follow the desired order.
The ones fought on shall not realize what's going on until they're very much drowning in the soup. They shall be kept at a state until it's too late to notice. And, even if they understand whose fire they're under, they shall be kept too helpless to practically do anything against the scattered fire they've been put on.
Let them sleep until they've been surrounded and until they realize there are too many fronts to deal with at one time.

Wie es heißt, ist heute der Tag der dummen Fragen. "Ask a Stupid Question Day" auch in Übersee genannt.

Eine dumme Frage: Was macht eigentlich Robert T-Online heute?

Environmentalists fight for a lot, for closing down nuclear power plants, coal-fired power stations and protecting flora and fauna from the influence of man - while, besides, they're the social group least to be expected, with all their networking for coordinating actions, to give up using new technological devices to be not in need of that much electricity production.
And where are they if it's about reforesting woods, so that there's still air left to breathe?

You join the mob, post everything that you have, and still you think like you're one in a million?
You share every content and what it really means you like to refuse to think further about it?

You join the party because it makes you feel less isolated and be part of a one?
You mindlessly are in favor of every new craze and being against it means a threat to democracy for you?

You're pathetic. You're a headless monster. You're what is perfectly usable as a soulless puppet.
Your ideals are made up of what the next media concern brews in his kitchen and your opinion follows what political correctness declares to be okay this day.
You don't think yourself, you're just a bit more than a fake.
You're directed by emotions worse than a parody of a soap opera.
You guess that your world works only by emotions because your logic gets a mistreatment from all sides.
You're made up of fun and dubiousness. Nothing is real about you.
You are what someone puts into you, and you believe it.
You are a shame before what is called intellect.
...Get a grip on yourself and disappear.

Who still wants to get on TV? It's nothing special anymore, it has become devoid of essence of content or message, if it ever had one, fame doesn't grant you prosperity, and your time as a personality being worth to be looked at is very fast moving.
If your desire was just to be seen once or to wave your friends, it's not worth the effort anymore as it's the institution no more that everyone looks up to and craves to know what's going on with it.

Once it was the sign of the uncool, the sign on the one to pick on, to walk with your expression down to the floor.
Now everyone walks with his eyes down to the floor. Staring at some monitor.

Picking up something that had already been indicated here: https://matrixmann.dreamwidth.org/50445.html

Some specific professions already face problems in finding trainees during these days. The reasons for this are various, from too long working hours to bad payment, from factual missing of employee's rights to temporary contracts and from disability to lead a private life to quick replacement.
But, the most remarkable thing awaits in the details as often: The current system using and needing these jobs of this certain kind, it is under threat to break down because it mostly relies on legacy. People once apprenticed a long time ago are the main pillar to shoulder the system and they don't apprentice as many new trainees to replace the old ones that retire finally. More than that, they rather lay out the threat to automatize and replace by machines to answer the uncovered future needs, speaking of "modernization" and "to become more efficient".
What sly-feeling people on the managment floor never get in touch with or even don't calculate, machines are only as intelligent as their inventors could realize and as their masters can operate them, meaning they're far more vulnerable to errors just because they're missing human autonomous intelligence and mankind is not going to success too soon to imitate that. Besides, they may not claim a wage and social security, but they will require propellants instead to feed them and they will also need maintaining. In the case of a drone for package delivery, especially it's going to be ineffecient because one drone may only be able to carry one package at a time, a utility van loaded with packages for delivery can take a lot more. Including they will produce a lot of air traffic which needs to be coordinated suddenly.
So, if it is sold on the outside as an improvement of service, actually it is in fact a downgrade.
Also it avoids solving the homemade problem of relying on crops gained in the past and relying on education that other countries have done which pursue a different policy.

You'd force me to choose between recently reawakened German Schlager, songs where you can hear a razor-sharply trimmed Virus TI oozing through every crack that causes you headaches, 90s Eurotrash and typical 80s songs like "The time of my life" which every small radio station broadcasts at least 3 times a day.

Why mankind is not getting anywhere?
Because it rather keeps looking down on its smartphones than taking a look at the stars.

Going out from these two: https://matrixmann.dreamwidth.org/43201.html,
https://matrixmann.dreamwidth.org/48862.html

In former times they recognized people can't do complicated work if they're kept on a level where they can't even neither read nor write, so they invested into education for the greater poorer masses.
Today it's like this all shall be reversed.

There won't be a return of easier times.
There won't be a time without cars, without television or without widespread mobility.
There will only be times of shortages, of temporary inavailability, which can last from days to years, but they won't last forever.
Also there won't be a return of labor done through human hands instead of machines.
Humans dreamed of it already centuries ago and all it went was further, not back.
Inventions mankind once has made and popularized - they won't vanish, they will only be replaced with other higher inventions.
There will only be new inventions coming to hit the everyday life, things they don't know, things that kids will be excited about and the next generation won't know how to live without.

Is there somebody before the downfall - or is it just profit maximization?

Distraction can be easy.
Sometimes a sport event, sometimes a plane going down - sometimes even a constructed event to keep the minds of the humans busy.
Oh, did you hear this? Oh, did you see that? Person X is an asshole, he evases taxes. That one tried to harm a woman. That one killed his kids. That one tried to raid his school - we need to ban all guns except from army and police. Oh, and did I forget - celebrity A needs a new mate?
It's as easy if some news fall back for that.
Sometimes you don't even need that kind of treatment.
People being busy with their lives, struggling for survival and looking for something to relax can also be enough. Being too tired from caring for their own lives, there's also left no power to care for something else.
In combination with habits of civilization the cure has already taken effect.
Playing video games and watching TV isn't going to save the world.

Something that can grind your gears: People who link every acticity to their profiles and ask themselves, if somebody molests them, how can he know all that.

The advantage of linking it all is you can easily present yourself, state to the world who you are and perhaps even make a little propaganda for something - even if it's propaganda only for yourself.
The disadvantage is if someone is really going hard for you, he knows where to find you. Also he knows what you like, what you dislike - where he can put the needle in and disgrace you.
If that happens to be on a platform where you appear with your legal name, he can also drag your real name into shame.

It may be tempting to advertise yourself and seek for an honest conversation, but always remember you're moving in a data bank. Each one can find you - and not each of them may come friendly-minded.
Some of them have business to do, some are just interested in annoying anyone, and some have a personal bone to pick with you.
Also they can find you through past traces of activity.
