matrixmann: (Thinking)
To link "going to war" with "dying for one’s country" is so much last century thinking...
You don’t need to get down onto such abstract emotional bullshit to find a reason to fight actively.
Better think of it as "I don’t care about the flag I go to war for, they gonna lie to me anyway - I fight so that me, my loved ones and my neighbor can go on living in peace".

As protests in Hong Kong became a steady topic in Western media in the recent weeks again:
Let's propose a critical question - what do the protesters actually aim for? Why do they fight China's taking-over of the territory?
All of that what they criticize to happen from China's side of things has been formally recorded in a couple of documents made long time ago between the British government and the PRC as part of returning Hong Kong to China which it once was taken from by them as a colony.
So, with fighting that, who do the protesters think will maintain their province instead and make the laws for it if China's reign is not desired?
So this can only mean targeting a return under the British crown.
Think about it...
People fighting for staying a colony!

Of course they won't mention this in your allegedly peace-, freedom- and democracy-loving Western media - as it's like a recently-created new form of sport to shoot darts at China whenever a possibility shows up to do so (especially for America under Trump).
Talking about a former colony actually wanting to stay a colony (judging by the deeds of the activists on the streets), this would be a very strange topic to report about with a subtle psychological undertone of joy.

The new campaign against Iran kind of leaves the impression like there's an unconditional need for the US to finally win a conflict again and push their interests through (after the several failed military campaigns, economic war attempts and coups d'état). Maybe even - or only - to achieve a second term for a president called Trump.

Once in a blue moon Venezuela again, America?
Someone needing money for a budget in shutdown times - or does someone need a scenario at the South border in order to desperately reason his wall project with that?
Okay, let's be fair, let that all be conspiracy theory...
That part of that which is no conspiracy are the prices at the pretrol stations in Europe: From one to the other week, they can climb 15 cents at once back to their high.

You know something that's annoying every time it happens?
When you say something that rocked someone's boat and ultimately you just get banned for it right away. Completely leaving you without the possibility to respond "you took this all with your right half of the brain and with your locally-shaped cultural world view" and to point at the possibility that there can be other general mindsets out there under which you can interpret it.
This is so... Western internet outrage culture.
And no, I won't defend the Eastern Europeans against that or color them prettier.
Those have their other reasons why they snap at you quickly if they do.

It is annoying because it is the quick way to get rid of everything unpleasant and not needing to listen to anything that doesn't support the own filter bubble. There never happens a fact-check if that person really meant what the banner thought it is.
All just... emotion. "I want to be enraged". "I don't want to get to know that people can be different the way I imagine the world to be - I just want the world to be like I imagine it and execute some control over it."
Some kind of "overcoming the own powerlessness"-shit...

To all who might feel talked to by this: You know what? Ever thought that really everyone who speaks something that a category of idiots in your cultural circle would say too exactly is an idiot of that kind like you know?
That the world is a homogeneous place where all people think and are mentally structured like in your place, your country, your sphere?
This is even more prejudice than any obvious narrow-minded person could reveal.

And exactly this is why there is a need to not shut up if you don't fit into that category.
Point them people every time at this! Point them every time at it and emphasize "you take something for granted that isn't self-evident"!
You can do this the civilized way, no need for rage or big drama - as it leads to the serious question if it will have any effect at all if you bloat it with the same emotions that your counterpart used to give you a rebuke.
If they rage, make them crazy with diplomacy. Don't join their games. The psychological game is the effect that a brain consciously and/or unconsciously pursues.
Reacting on it will make you spin in an endless circle of blaming and shaming and bouncing those two back and forth. Which will lead to nothing in the end.
React with the left half of your brain and remain respectful, while trying to point at it tactfully "you can keep your life achievements, I haven't come to take anything from you".
Respect has the chance of impression anyone, while rage and precast judgments haven't.
No-one likes to be talked at in a loud voice! You know the verdict behind it anyway, otherwise someone wouldn't shout at you...

I wished more people knew a little about the psychological part of communication.
This could reduce the steady outrages and ranting about the other groups one is not part of.
And I mean "ranting" in the sense of "complaining about a group with automatic raise of the value of own self-assumed virtues". You know, narrow-minded narcissistic bullshit that thinks in "we're better than them simply because we're better than them"... Self-praise that looks at one's ego before real deeds. Preoccupation, partisanship... That kind of thing.
Not the "I try to soberly criticize you".
Psychology about communication would teach to keep all of these things in the back of your head about "don't think everyone in the world carries the same meaning of a word/phrase/idea around in its head". And this didn't apply only to text speech, it also was valid for verbal speech where you see all the gesticulation.

At least, it would be my guessing and maybe my silent hope that it would lead to people more trying to understand between the lines what a person exactly means instead of feeding one's ego about what one believes he meant and showering him with one's cultural and personal enemy images in a blow before he can say anything if he agrees or disagrees with the given title.
'Cause this is really a problem in all this shouting and holding reproaches against each other.
If everyone thinks he's right, well, then you know what comes out of it... They call it "civil war". People fighting against people. Ordinary people...

The world already practices very hard again how to be illogical and how to escalate things from void of one's own principles:

Some elected head of his regional state gets caught by the police in Germany because the main state searches for him because of a referendum for separation that the people agreed on formally in elections - various states before regarded the international warrant as politically motivated and therefore ignored it, but just of all things, the German state (or federal state?) must make itself accomplice in questionable ongoings again.

Some Russian former secret agent suffers an assassination trial with a nerve agent and all that politicians and media can come up with in a choir is that it could have only been a Russian who did this to him. And, to top it all, that Russian must have a connection to the president of the Russian Federation again - like, aren't there already quite a lot of people out there which someone asserts a connection to him from the outside? 'Cause that claim comes up whenever a Russian citizen gets hurt or dies.
Is it only the mind of a heretic in that, when you get upon the idea that this reflex to always accuse a Russian of killing another Russian (and nobody else than that) looks like some kind of, you know, old classic "prejudice" from the outside?
But the best about that story is to follow: No court has spoken a verdict yet and already Western politicians start handing out international sanctions. Like - when the mob prejudges, then it's called "vigilantism", but when bigwigs do that, best citing "democracy" three times even though they asked nobody of their people if they agree, then it's called "fair and due international politics" and all has its official legitimation?
Well, seems like the prices for gasoline aren't already expensive enough...

...If looking at those ongoings, on top of another couple of dubious processes that take place openly since a few years, if just anybody can still believe that all things run fair and safe in this world, while all this takes place, you can say, it's gullibility, plain stupidity or having absolutely no idea about all these things that you can still believe in those people pulling the strings which you get presented as doing this.
Or you must be solely obsessed with getting your offspring through, like every other wild animal does, or possessed by getting your bread and circuses working for you daily, spending countless money on that.

Age of hate, big noises made, positions unalterable.
Fraction against fraction - the incarnation of the plebs fighting against itself.
The enemy is not out there, it already is in your own ranks...
It's symptoms are indoctrination, manipulation, confusion and narrowmindedness.
Sometimes, its accomplices are need and lack of personal honor. Paid jobs, done for a higher agenda... Which each party will even label as "noble".
Opinion is the currency to let peasants sacrifice their lives. For whatever meaninglessness they shall dive into the cold water.
Many people jump on that train, ready to throw everything away for something they heard somewhere through a chain letter.
The mind fades away and primitive emotions reign...
Let's hope, one fine day, brains rain from the sky and end this time of foolishness and revolving around oneself.

1917, Tsarist Russia: October Revolution.

2007: In a small community, named Jokela, in the South of Finland, an 18-years-old high school student kills 8 people at his school, injuring 13 additionally, using a pistol he legally purchased. During the course of the deed, he spilled liquid in a part of the building, trying to set it on fire, but failed to do so. With the police approaching and ending his deed, he shot himself in the head in some lavatories, dying later that night in the hospital.
He had been an active YouTuber, member of a couple of discussion circles dealing with previous school shootings, and he left behind himself several pieces of deeply misanthropic documents - a written manifesto and self-made videos.

Fear

"I'm not afraid...!"
"So then, what is it that you do the next time a guy with an assault rifle in his arms appears somewhere near you?! Staying there and trying to stop him?!
No, you run away like the last time and all other times before!
That's what is called FEAR!
So, don't try to tell me shit!"
matrixmann: (Waiting for command)
How many times you wanna stay there and repeat the same phrases over and over again?
How many times you wanna stay there and the daily usual sloppy work keeps going on and on?
You expect anyone to believe you? You expect anyone to believe you do something in his interest?
You expect anything at all that no-one sees that you only try to administer the state of things because it's all too much for you? That you're overchallenged?
Politics is not a game of "I wanna be rich and famous". If you look for that, just dicover some dormant talent in you and try your luck in the free economy that you always praise so much!
High politics govern the life of thousands of people. You do your job as they do! Hand in hand work, you can't exist without them and they can't exist without you! Everyone does a job for the other so he doesn't have to worry about it!
This is the pattern of the game - and if you're not willing to follow that, just fuck you off!!
Fuck-up of a mass of human lives, you know how they call that? "Mass-murderer" and "war criminal".
You slowly get aware of what game you signed up for? This is not a children's game, this is not something you don't carry any responsibility for! Just like everyone else who "only" works in a factory!
This is not about you and your ego! This is about a high responsibility that you carry! And if you fuck that up big time even voluntarily, then this needs to get treated like "voluntarily"!
You know what happens to war criminals and mass-murderers, so you have an idea what judgment might happen to you before a court?

"The land of the free never really cared about freedom. Not its politicians, not its oligarchs, not the people that really decide over the course of the country. It worked together with Nazis barely that they've fled from Europe just to bring down the Soviet Union because they were its political enemies. The United States - a Jew-friendly place? Open your eyes, by the time the Germans killed them by the masses in their concentration camps, nobody liked them anywhere either. Henry Ford was an anti-Semite, Disney was an anti-Semite - nobody thought about correcting their views or putting them to jail for it. Ford even had good trade relations with the Third Reich as long as it was possible. IBM delivered punch card machines for the bureaucratic administration of the concentration camps. If the United States really would have been so much against it, they had ordered those key technologies to be stopped to be delivered to the Nazis before they made the declaration of war. It would have just been a blow to them. Key technologies are always subject to the final OK of the state. If it doesn't happen, the administration doesn't want it. And the trail keeps continuing until the present. Fascists and butchers? As long as they're political enemies of an enemy of the states, they don't see reason why not making them their tool for a power change or to simply destroy the most promising competitor beside them.
One can't even tell how long in time this behavior goes back. It's been so much inherent to its system, it's like it goes back to the very early days - since the US was able to move on the international political parquet."

What is there to say?
This is the world you created.
This is the seeds you have sown.
And this is the harvest you get.
Say - are you fucking happy with it?!
Are you happy that any grand nation
can attack another nation,
without being subject to punishment?
Are you happy with crying over people
that you didn't know they existed
until yesterday?
Is this your understanding of
humanism?
Selectable like your joys -
and after a few weeks gone
you have forgotten about everything.
This is your standard.
Scapegoats and heroes
and "Iiiii have nothing to do with that".

The US entered a war on the legitimate state of Syria they know they can't win.
Why would they otherwise just throw missiles over to an airbase "to change a govenments behavior", when they could have just more than that?
